The Order & Shipment Overview Dashboard allows you to instantly view key shipment metrics for Orders, Parcel Shipments, Parcel Exceptions, and Carriers at a glance! You can view all the data at a high level at the top of the page, or scroll-down to get more in-depth information.
- Note: Data in the Order & Shipment Overview Dashboard shows a mix of Order and Parcel-based data while the Operations Overview is strictly orders-based. The purpose of the Operations Overview is to show you how your orders in a ship week progress through the optimization, fulfillment and delivery process, while the Order & Shipment Overview Dashboard shows the same data for orders, but displays shipments, exceptions, and carrier performance and status at the parcel level. To learn more about the Operations Overview, see this article.

Filtering the Dashboard
There are two fields that you are able to adjust within the dashboard: the Warehouse and the Time Frame.
- The Warehouse: You can narrow down the dashboard to only look at a specific warehouse by choosing options within the Warehouse dropdown.
- The Time Frame: You can view a week’s worth of data from the past, the current week, or even weeks into the future by using the calendar week dropdown.
If you want to view data for a different time frame, you can do this in the Order Table!
- Note: There is an additional dropdown for a client name. You will only be able to view your own dashboard information as a client.
Using the Dashboard
You can view the number of Orders received, the Parcel Shipments and their status, and any Parcel Exceptions occurring for orders within the interactive charts at the top. Clicking on any section of these charts will open a table that houses all of the data for that specific chart section. Clicking the labels will add or remove those statuses from the chart. Clicking a chart visual element, itself, will take you to the corresponding table with that filter applied.
Orders
The number of orders received within the selected Service Week, and whether they were shipped, need to be shipped, or were cancelled. If you click on a section of the chart, you will be navigated to an Orders Table for the selected status.
Parcel Shipments
The number of shipments (individual parcels) for Orders received within the selected Service Week. If you click on any portion, it navigates you to the Parcels table for parcels with the selected status:
Parcel Exceptions
The number of shipment exceptions for Orders received within the selected Service Week. Displays the different parcel statuses (or type of exception) received on your shipments. If you click on a visual element of the chart, it will navigate you to the Shipping Parcels table for the selected exception.
- Example use case: You may want to view all of your shipments for a given week and check if any shipments had exceptions:
- Go to the Order & Shipment Overview Dashboard
- Go to the Parcel Shipments Chart
- Click the red (Exception) area of the pie chart. This will open a Parcels table for orders with exceptions on the selected week.
- Scroll to the right to view the Status Category column. You will see they are all listed as Exception along with their Status:
There is additional information in the table towards the bottom of the dashboard. Select the tabs for a more in-depth view of Orders, Shipments, and Carriers. Many of the column values within these tabs are deep-linked to take you to the corresponding table with the data you selected. You can select any numeric column values that are not percentages.
Orders Tab
This tab shows the Orders by warehouse and their shipping metrics. The Shipped, To Be Shipped, Cancelled, and Total column values can be clicked to navigate you to a table holding the orders data selected:
Shipments Tab
The Shipment tab shows the Status and # of Shipments. You can select any values in the # of Shipments column to open a table with the selected status row’s shipping records with the corresponding filters applied.
You can also select the expand buttons within the In Transit, Delivered Successfully, and Exception rows to view statuses:
Carriers Tab
Show the metrics for each Carrier for the week’s shipments. You can click on any of the values within the Total, Exceptions, and Excluded columns to open a table with the carrier service from the row selected. "Excluded" in this context refers to Shipments we don't have data for yet.
- Note: You can export the data as a csv file from these tabs using the export icon at the top of the tab.
