Quick Filters allow you to filter any data within a ColdTrack Live table. There are two ways to use Filters – Basic Filters, or Advanced Filters. When adding a filter, you always need to add a query (an operator and a value).
Adding a Basic Filter
Basic or Quick Filters allow you to quickly filter the data you want to see based on terms you set within a table or report (i.e. a query). You can add multiple basic filters to easily narrow down your data.
To Create a Basic Filter:
- Navigate to any ColdTrack Live Table
- In the filters list, select the filter you want to add, and add a query. Click out of the modal to activate your new filter. The filter will narrow down the data within the table based on that query:
Adding an Advanced Filter
Advanced filters allow you to condense the data in your table based on multiple terms in a more complex and powerful way. Rather than completing multiple basic filters, you can set up a single advanced filter.
To Create an Advanced Filter:
- Navigate to a ColdTrack Live Table
- On the right side of the screen, select the “Advanced” toggle:
- Select the “Filter Builder” button to open the Filter Builder modal. Select the “Add Condition” button to add a new condition. Add multiple conditions to narrow down the data into a single query.
- Click out of the modal to exit the Filter Builder. You will see your new filter above the table.
